A member of our litigation group, Brian has extensive experience handling business, close corporation, and minority shareholder disputes, as well as investors’ rights actions, class actions, and administrative actions. A seasoned trial attorney, he has argued in jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, and arbitrations and has appeared before federal and state courts nationwide, including the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
An internationally renowned author, Brian is also an expert on Internet and computer-related legal issues and was featured in People magazine for his innovative use of Internet technologies in representing a former client.
Prior to co-founding our firm, Brian was an associate with Jenner & Block in Chicago.
Brian has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has consistently been named an Ohio Super Lawyer, and was recently recognized by legal news source Law360 as a “Legal Lion.”

Geoff has nearly 30 years of experience as a commercial litigator, resolving business disputes both in and out of the courtroom. A highly skilled trial attorney, Geoff has argued in jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, and arbitrations. He regularly counsels clients in disputes between owners of companies, lenders and borrowers, employers and employees, and customers and vendors. His clients range from successful individuals and small business owners to public utility companies, large banks, public pension funds, real estate developers, construction companies, placement agencies, manufacturers, and chemical companies.
Prior to co-founding our firm, Geoff litigated complex commercial disputes at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago. He also formerly served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph P. Kinneary, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.
The victories Geoff has earned for his clients include a consumer class-action settlement that was then the largest of its kind in Franklin County, a $600 million securities fraud settlement that was the largest in the four-state region of Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky, and the recovery of tens of millions of dollars for a commercial real estate lender. Geoff also successfully defended the State of Ohio in a civil rights class action, reaching a settlement.

Her individual and business clients include financial institutions, commercial developers, manufacturers, and professional services firms in a broad range of industries.
Jennifer had a 13-year career at Jones Day prior to joining us, and she was previously a practicing CPA with both Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen.
